Our SmartClient UI framework tightly integrates with the robust Metastorm .NET Enterprise Class Library (ECL) to provide a unified server-side programming object model that makes it easy to interact with Metastorm BPM services. From within the UI’s ASP.NET forms, developers allow users to initiate a new process, submit actions, and save data into Metastorm custom variables with greater runtime flexibility and design options than ever before.
By conjoining the ECL and .NET 3.5 Framework with AJAX support together, the I-nnovate SmartClient toolset allows developers to create UI's that are as responsive and feature rich as Windows® Forms applications. Our graphically-styled UI provides unique “vertical” form navigation with an informative “at-a-glance” workspace featuring collapsible form panels, dynamic stage actions and visual status indicators producing rapid readability, decision assessments and simplified task executions for process participants.
The SmartClient utilizes ASP.NET AJAX partial page rendering to eliminate full page reloads on selective data update events, making forms perform efficiently and update noticeably faster than traditional web application forms.
